Theatre Arts

Students who earn an AA-T in Theatre Arts have an opportunity to learn about acting, theatrical production, stage and technical theatre design, theatre history, dramatic literature and other specialized aspects of theatre such as costume and make up. As a theatre arts student, you may participate in college productions both on stage and back stage. Once you transfer to the CSU, bachelor’s degree options can include majoring in theatre arts, but at some campuses majors for students with this degree include dance, acting, technical theatre or film. Career opportunities can range from professional theatre, the film industry, regional theatre, television and teaching at all grade levels.
