Communication Studies
Students who earn an AA-T in Communication Studies are introduced to many aspects of communication including public speaking, interpersonal, intercultural, group and mass communication as well as persuasion, argumentation and debate. A communication degree prepares graduates for a communication program at most CSU campuses, and students’ foundational skills prepare them to branch out into an array of upper division or graduate specializations. Some of the career options for students with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies include teaching, broadcasting, journalism, sales, public relations, law, politics, advertising, marketing and business.
